GameTip:
--------
If you are playing a random map. You've got to build a lot of watch towers so
the enemy's can't attack in you camp. In front off the towers you've got to
build also a wall so the enemy most come to 1 entrance at your camp, put all
your troops there and see.

Hint:
-----

Wen you have push in enter then type dangerousstuff then your money then all your
men will be set on god-mode and stronger weapons will be increast into 100 damage.

Making your enemies as your ally:
---------------------------------

In order to make your enemies as your allies just follow this. First, build a
very vast military base. Don't concentrate on creating extra villagers. If you
are playing a random map with more than two enemies then one of them will be
concentrating to build a forward military base like you and the other will be
concentrating in creating extra villagers to build temples, markets and Wonder.
This you could easily see from the mini-map. Now bring your large army to the
enemy base who concentrates on creating villagers, destroy their wonder and
temples. The enemy at once gets stunned to see your ambush attack and they will
change their diplomatic stance to ally. Atonce you should set your diplomacy
to ally if you are too late then they will again set their stance to enemy. Try
it,It really happens. This technique is common to both Age of Empires-I and
Age of Empires-Rise of Rome. If more doubts persists, Mail me.

Gametip:
--------

If you want to win easy you could create your own war thing but if you want
something hard you could let all your enemies build up their army while you
get a heap of resources build like 50 houses then get all the food you can
get after you have heaps of food make 200 villagers at your town center then
use them as your army it is way fun.

Cheat:
------
Press the enter button for the chat menu and type in the following codes:

code result

DARK RAIN:
----------
Disguises composite Bowman as tree when they are at rest.

Black Rider:
------------
Change your heavy Horse Archers into an Black Riders.

CheatTip:
---------
Cheat = Steroids
Result = Instantly build buildings,
Train or create villagers, and mine gold or stone or forage for berries or kill
deer, elephant, alligator, lion. Also train infantry instantly, archur instantly and
boats instantly! WARNING: other oppenets can use it too.

GameTip:
--------
When playing age of empries I, you can make the biggest empire ever, by doing this:

Make 30 villageres as fast as you can, and 5 axmen and 5 bowman, for protect the
town, so with the villagers collect all kind of resources you'll need , and advance
through ages with minimal upgrades, now , depending the civ you have make the best
warrior it has and begin producing as many as your resources allow you, remember
to upgrade in benefit of the unit you will use. and that's it, when you are ready,
use all your warrior and go for a absolute victory. Use an cavallary-archer
civilization for best performance.

Hint:
-----
The population limit can be incresed to 200 and can be played in age of empires "the
rise of rome" all u have to do is go to the multiplayer creat a game with opponent
being the computer. u can adjust the settings by going to the settings option. There
u can adjust settion and there is an option to change the population limit to 200
and can also apply cheats. try it...

IT HELPS A LOT IN MULTIPLAYER:
------------------------------
In a deathmatch(starting age=iron age)select all ur villagers and build 5 town
centres select 2 of them and build 50 barracks now select 1 barracks and press
the units hotkey, like this select all barracks and press hotkey one by one. Units
will be created very quick and population limit will be exceeded by 50 (depends
upon how many barracks u have).

The Power of Persuasion:
------------------------
With the ability to convert enemy forces into friendly units, priests are also a
very effective (and sneaky) defense against invading armies. Standing behind a good
set of walls, a well-trained priest can easily convert enemy troops and give you
forces outside your walls. But certain differences between civilizations can give
these units an extra edge. Egypt has a great bonus for priests (+3 range), making
them an excellent wonder-defending race. The Choson are also very good because they
get reduced-cost priests (allowing you to pump out a ton of priests very quickly).

Cheat:
------
If you type the dark rain the composite bowman turn to tree and walk on water.

Overpopulate:
-------------
To overpopulate, first build something like four Academies. When you press [F11],
you will see the population. When you get up to 50 on multi-player, delete something.
Next, click on your Academy then click on the Phalanx or Hoplite about three to four
times. Do this on the second academy, then the third, and so on. This will trick the
CPU into thinking you have to have more, so you will have a bigger army. You can end
up getting 50 or more.

Archers walk on water:
----------------------
Enable the dark rain code. This will make the archer more powerful and allow him to
walk across water He will also be disguised as a tree when not moving.

Destroying catapults:
---------------------
Get any close combat person and attack a catapult. It will not be able to fire back
because you are too close to it. Note: This also works for anything else that fires
rocks.

Priests with 1200HP:
--------------------
To get the priest with 1200HP, first you must have a temple with NO advancements.
Press ENTER and then type in the code hoyohoyo. Your priests will move very fast
and have 600HP! Now, start advancing everything. There should be an advancement
that says "Double priests' hit points". Click it to advance, and your priests will
have 1200HP!

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile

Posted by Krishna Vyas On 9:23 AM 0 comments

General Tips:
-------------

Think outside the box. For example, if "duck" is on your list, it could
refer to a rubber ducky, a wooden carving of a duck, or a roast duck on
someone's dinner plate Visit the salon at regular intervals during an
investigation. Sometimes finding new clues will open up new questions
for Poirot to ask.

All of the items to find are historically accurate to the early 20th-
century time period in which the book took place, which requires a bit
of an adjustment in thinking. For example, if "car" is on your list of
items to find, you should be looking for an old-fashioned Model T Ford
type of vehicle; if you're looking for a music stand, expect to see an
old ornate wooden one instead of the black metal variety; and a bathing
suit will be a modest black affair, not a sexy bikini!

Puzzle Box (Investigation 6)
----------------------------
Use rhymes to solve this one.

- Bee: tree, 3, knee
- Snail: pail, grail (the cup), nail
- Dog: frog, log, hog
- Book: cook, rook (chess piece), hook

You'll find pearls inside the locked puzzle box, which you have to examine.
Bring the magnifying glass over the pearls until you find a flawed-looking
one. Hold the glass over it for a few seconds to register a clue.

Examine the evidence (Investigation 8)?:_
----------------------------------------
The magnifying glass will buzz when it gets close something interesting.
If you hold the magnifying glass still for a few seconds, a clue will turn
up.

- Use the crowbar on the box
- Use the magnifying glass on the bottle (clue #1)
- Use the crowbar on the cloth bundle
- Use the magnifying glass on the gun (clue #2)
- Use the magnifying glass on the stained handkerchief (clue #3)
- Use the magnifying glass on the ashtray (clue #4)
- Use the magnifying glass on the upper right corner of the cloth (clue #5)
- Use the magnifying glass on the upper left corner of the cloth (clue #6)

Hints:
------
Press your Alt key to pause the timer without obstructing your view. Clicking
anywhere on the screen, or pressing your Alt key again will restart the timer.

Hidden objects to find, clues to discover and puzzles to solve...there's all
that and more with Death on the Nile! If you find yourself stuck on the puzzle
box, just try and rhyme your way through! And the rosary bead solution is as
easy as A-B-C!

Safe puzzle:
------------

Once the safe has been opened, inside is a small drawer with slots with
the letters A, E, E, E, H, L, R, S, T, U, V and W. Notice the poster
above the radio just outside the safe. You will find the answer there
in a song that Patrick sings. The answer to open this second hidden
door is: Rule the Waves.

Miss Brent alive and dead at the same time:
-------------------------------------------
The game may glitch to where Miss Brent knitting downstairs on the patio
alive, but is also dead in bed at the exact same time. This happens because
she must first complete the part of your escape plan that you have given
her, which is to sew the two sheets together. For her to finish this you
must give her: sheets (found in the upstairs closet) sewing needles (found
in the Rogers' room) and finally fishing line (found behind the thorn bushes).
To get past these thorns, find the fermented apples near the bee hives.
Using the cheese cloth, place them in the juicer in the kitchen. You will
need a piece of the submarine hidden through the "Rule the Waves" door
before you can do this. Make sure that you explore the rooms beyond the
safe very carefully or you will miss the sub. After you have the apple
cider, take it to the thorn bush and use it there. Grab the fishing line
and give it to Miss Brent. Walk away for a few minutes and return. The
sheets are done and you can combine the four things you need: the tripod
for the telescope, the sheets, the leather goat harness and the fishing
net to get your parachute.

Endings:
--------
There are four endings in the game

Unlockable How to unlock
-------------------------
Ending A - Save Lombard, then leave the room when confronted by the murderer
Ending B - Save Lombard, then throw the marble at the murdered when
confronted
Ending C - Do not save Lombard, then leave the room when confronted by
the murderer
Ending D - Do not save Lombard, then throw the marble at the murdered
when confronted

Hidden Cutscene:
----------------
On the extra page, you may finish the game and find you have a cut
scene missing; the movie selection picture is located on the bottom
left hand corner of the screen. This is unlocked by losing to the final
playable boss (the one with giant shoulder cannons and the bandaged face;
he occurs in the story after the pipe organ puzzle but right before the
colored bubbles puzzle) and selecting "NO" when asked to continue.

Unlocking this cutscene will reveal the fate of Eo and her friends against
the monster's many tentacles.

Fighting Boss Battles:
----------------------
Fighting bosses in this game is a snap. Just remember to use your entire
desk to sweep the mouse from left to right and vice versa; dont' confine
your arm movements to your mouse pad. This way you can jump from one end
of the room to another while firing without ever having to stop and reset
the mouse position .
You can also use the right mouse button to re-aim your weapon elsewhere
but if you use this strategy you honestly won't need to do so.

Solution to Pipe Organ Puzzle:
------------------------------
To unlock the first door play "mi, la, si, la, re, si, re, so" as written
on the keyboard. To unlock the second door play "so, si, si, si, so, la,
re, do". Note that you must get the keys for this in order to use the pipe
organ.

While this is very apparent in the game, this may be difficult to understand
if you don't speak Japanese.

Solution to the Colored Bubble Puzzle:
--------------------------------------
After defeating the final playable boss, you will come to a room with locked
doors and a machine that spits out colored bubbles. Collect the bubbles in
this order to advance: white, red, red, green, yellow, white, blue and blue.

Secret Building:
----------------
Go to Hell and switch the view to North (up). Now go into some corner you aren't
using and build a square road that surrounds an empty 7X7 area. Switch the time
mode to Divine Intervention. Starting in the northmost corner and working your
way down to the right, lay out colors in the pattern below:

B = blue, BR = brown, O = orange, G = green,
P = purple, Y = yellow, and R = red.

G Y O BR P R B
Y O BR P R B G
O BR P R B G Y
BR P R B G Y O
P R B G Y O BR
R B G Y O BR P
B G Y O BR P R

Now resume normal time and a hidden building should appear. Read the text.
It's the secret building from the designer.

Cheat:
------
* During play type:
[$],[@],[!]
This gives you 10 million pennies.
(Do this only 5 times or else death star attacks!)

* To see Sam and Max on the map type SAMNMAX

Tips for the game:
------------------
Submitted by: Dj Simo

* Build slowly, build on 1 plane first, *NOT* both. Don't worry, once you
have made a profit, building on the other plane is a snap. Lots of souls
just pour in.

* Build a 3x3 fate zone when a spike appears. And if more spikes appear, wait
for a few years for the fate structures to upgrade itself thus holding more
souls. (I have fully built on 1 plane, when I found out that I have built
ineffecient fate zones, eg. 1 square or 2 squares :o( )

* As you start off, you will lose money, but it will improve if you start off
slow.

* I noticed that training centers will not train any souls if you plop it in
the game too early. So put it in when you think your souls are ready to be
trained, thus saving pennies from importing more demons to run the inactive
center.

* Rocks/Ad Infinitum - There is no limit/rule for placing Ad Infinitum. You
can place more than 1 Ad Infinitum around 1 rock and it will still increase
the charges for your structures.

* Roads - The lesser the better. Try this : Add more roads, then check your
yearly road spending. YIKES!! :o(. Thus less road = smaller problem/congestion
= lesser pennies spent :o) (Althought Jasper will keep asking you to manage
roads, but I usually ignore him. Hey! I don't trust a devil!)

* KStations - Build them far away from your structures!! They give out strong
undesired vibes!!

* Gates - Try not to put them in the middle of your structures, yucky vibes!
But this is trivial, once you get a gift structure just put it near the gates.
but do remember to keep some space for them! :o)

* Whack-a-ding-hoy! [Always wanted to say that! :o) ]

* Balancing fate structures : *VERY* Important! The best way to do this the
cheap way is this, if you followed the 3x3 build rule. It would be so much
easier. (Not as bad as balancing 1 square inefficient zones) just wait for
a while till your structures go up to 2x2 or 3x3. Then switch off the
structure view, thus revealing the structures in squares. From there on its
pretty straight-forward. Oh, to manually balance them for efficiency, slide
the slider till the bar below it turns white. If you are lazy or have little
time because you are playing this game on your office machine (we
all know what that mean!) you can use the auto balance feature, but it is very
expensive. (At least you run lesser risk of getting caught playing in the
office which would really get expensive! :oP )

* Gift Structures:
Not much to say about this, it just gives out a lot of strong desired vibes.
No need roads, Ad Infinitum, nothing. Just put it where its needed most. Here
are the population level for each different Gift structure:

50K - The Vista Enhancement Doohicky/The Ugliness Engine
500K - The Audio Improving Embophone/The Crinkly Cacophony Contrivance
5M-The Heaven Scent Atomizer/The Flabbergasting Flatulence Ol-Factory
50M - The Creame Candy Castle/The Wellspring of unsavoriness
500M - The Floofy comfort Dispenser/The Tactile Degradation Gizmo

NOTE: You need to achieve this population for each plane, *NOT* total
population on both planes! :o(
Where do they come up with these names??!! Anyway, these structures can
only be built once. They don't cost anything. Even if you nuke'em, it
will be available again in your menu.

* Do you think your hot??!! Then aim for 1Billion population per plane. At this
point, you can build Love Domes/Omnibolges. Once you build these structures,
you can nuke most of your fate structures and catch up on your sleep since
you bought this game .

* Watch your training centers!! When you have extra workforce, they tend to
get bored. Since there is no Mall, Theatres or TV's in Heaven/Hell they'll
start looking for 'fun' on the other plane! They start blowing up structures
on the other plane! (Although it is still unknown where they bought their
explosives) You'll hear "Charge" and buildings blowing up if you have your
sounds turned on.

* Bad Thingies - I am not too sure about this, but I think if you turn it off
it just cuts your pennies/soul 1/2. Anyway, the maximum for pennies/soul is
only 10.00 pennies. If bad things were tuned on.
Else if it were turned off, the maximum is only 5.00 pennies/soul.

* Ports - If you don't know how this works, then I suggest you take a cab to
one and stay there till you figure it out. Well, anyways, for those people
who can't afford a cab fare, here are some info. Build ports on both sides
of river, connect roads from port to structures, and there you have it.

* Banks - A big no no! Puts you in a worse position than when you start off.
But if you must, build them in heaven, their payment terms are better.

* Topias, if you can afford to upgrade to the best Topias, do it. Because
one of those can hold a lot of workers, thus saving space for other
structures. Also, better Topias affects a wider area in terms of vibes.

* When building cheaper gates in the beggining of the game, be aware that
the best gate needs a 4x4 square! Thus upgrading means nuking some
structures, which I thought was cool :o)

* Read the structure information, especially those gift structures. Usually,
it will make you laugh and forget that you need sleep.

* Limbos - Personally, don't use it much, because:
a) Its confusing, the color shown in the container isn't the color that
you need to build more of.
b) Gets to be an expensive habit, because it blows up when full, thus
requiring another one.
c) I don't like Beers brewed by dead people.

* Planet Management - This basically controls the living. You don't have
to really fool around with it unless you have a lot of time and pennies
in your hands. You try to influence them so called EMBO's to come to your
establishments :o) Anyway, since this is trivial, I won't say much about
it.

* Faster Game Play - Switch off everything, structures, grids, sound etc..
runs much much faster when you want to get those pennies faster.

* So, this is where Elvis hangs out!! (Disco Inferno)

Transplant buildings from one game to another:
----------------------------------------------
If you're zoning something when you load another game (or a scenario, or you
start a new one), that zoning is still on the mouse cursor. So, you can load
up the Splitsville scenario, select the Wellspring of Unsavouriness, load up
your own game at year 0 and place a Wellspring of Unsavouriness! This will
work for any building that is available in any game (including all Special
Buildings and probably Omnibolges/Love Domes) - but be warned that if the
building has a cost, you'll still pay it.
